Page Potter is a 22 year old rising senior at North Carolina State University where she is earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a minor in Biology. She plans to attend veterinary school in the fall of 2012, hopefully at N.C. State. She currently works at the NCSU Vet School in the ophthalmology research department and has volunteered at both Neuse River Equine Hospital and Neuse River Veterinary Hospital

She also competes on the NCSU Western Equestrian team where she earned the nickname “Cheerleader” because she cheers for everyone, even the opposing team. She has held several leadership positions such as historian, secretary, club sport representative and currently vice president. She also coordinates the “Toys for Tots” drive every year for the equestrian team.

Page was born and raised in N.C until 1994 when her father purchased a newspaper in Florida. She moved back to North Carolina to attend in N.C. State in 2008 and her parents and younger sister moved back in August of 2010.

Her current show mount is “Zippo Outta Town”. She boards at Sapphire Farm in Creedmoor, NC where the owners Tim and Lynne Leonard have become her “foster” N.C. parents. While her college studies have kept her out of the show ring the past few years she has been able to participate more this year in the Novice/Rookie Amateur classes. She is definitely looking forward to becoming more involved in NCQHA.

When she’s not showing horses, Page enjoys spending time with her shelties, Thunder & Lightning. She is also certified in open water scuba diving and worked at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for 3 years where she worked with Sea Otters & Turtles along with Bottlenose Dolphins. She had the opportunity to work with the famous dolphin, Winter, who lost her tail in a crab trap. Her favorite movie is Finding Nemo and her Favorite TV Show is Glee.
