Novice Amateur Rookie of the Year Award
"Novice Amateur Rookie of the Year"
This award will be presented to the top NCAQHA point earning Novice Amateur Rookie. This will be an annual award given each year to the novice amateur that has earned the most state points in novice amateur classes at NCQHA approved events.
The requirements below must be met in order to be eleigible for this award:
1) Must be a member in good standing with AQHA and NCQHA. Points accumulate from date of NCQHA membership.
2) Must meet all requirements of AQHA membership in order to hold an AQHA Novice Amateur Card for the current year.
3) Can not have earned any AQHA points in any Novice Amateur, Amateur, Youth, Novice Youth or Open classes.
4) Points accumulated on a one rider/one horse combination.
5) Must provide a printout from AQHA showing proof no points were earned prior to 2011.
Note: Having points in novice amateur halter does not eliminate you from competing for this award
